Friday Shootouts - Power (Zest for Life)

I took power to mean "zest for life". And this is where I get mine.

Hanging out with people that know what it means to be alive and have fun.

Drinking tea, receiving inspirational quotes, and photography.

Reading as much as I possibly can.

And good old sunshine when we are blessed enough to see it!

I love all of the things that give you zest for life. I drink tea all day long, I consider myself the queen of quotes, I'm extremely passionate about books and I like to be around people who know how to have fun. We have something in common.

Like the feet shot.

Tea is my thing. I like a little java in the morning and sometimes some at night but all day I am a unsweetened tea junkie.

Like the books as power. They are indeed very powerful.

Thanks for joining in.

And every morning I look at the rooster statue standing more than 5' tall in front of it and think, "I want a picture of him." And then I drive by. I'm either too late for work. Or just not in the mood. Or it's raining. Or I've got other things on my mind. In other words I'm full of excuses. I have spent more time reasoning myself out of taking that picture than it would have taken to just pull over and snap it. What changed today? The Details in the Fabric. It was recommended that I listen to this Jason Mraz song and pay attention to the lyrics. So, I did...and in listening I decided to stop paralyzing myself. To stop driving by just because I'm preoccupied or feeling lost. "Calm Down. Deep Breaths. And get yourself dressed. Instead of running around and pulling all of your threads.
