Happy New Year

As far as resolutions go...this year I kept mine sounding simple, knowing it'll be one of the most challenging ones I've ever made.

In 2009. "I'm going to put my money where my mouth is."

All of the things I've spent years exploring and learning and then shying away from...it's time for me to take a closer look.

Step One. This blog, my new Canon Rebel EOS and my more than average passion for taking photos.

I'm going to learn the camera, develop my skill level and give my photos a shot.

Today I did it. Every morning I drive past a garden supply store on my way to work. And every morning I look at the rooster statue standing more than 5' tall in front of it and think, "I want a picture of him." And then I drive by. I'm either too late for work.
